INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING A SHOW IDEA?

Music Theatre of Wenatchee welcomes show suggestions from community members, directors, and producers alike. Whether you’re ready to lead a production or simply have a great idea, we want to hear from you! 


To get started, simply complete the show proposal form below.


How the proposal process works: 

MTW programs an entire season at once, selecting a well-rounded mix of productions to engage audiences and provide varied opportunities for performers and volunteers. Our typical season includes:

  • Fall Show (Sept/Oct)

  • Holiday Show (Nov/Dec)

  • Winter Show (Jan)

  • Spring Musical - Apple Blossom (Jan–May)

  • Summer Show (May/June)

  • Short Shakespeareans (July/August)

Note: Short Shakespeareans is a pre-scheduled youth program and is not open for submissions.

After your form is submitted, a member of our Programming Committee will contact you to help refine the proposal and discuss next steps. The committee works to curate a diverse and balanced season, including a variety of genres, cast sizes, and creative opportunities.


Proposal submission timeline: 

Proposals are accepted January 1 through October 1 of the year prior to the target season.
Example: To submit a show for the 2026–2027 season (beginning Fall 2026), submit your form between January 1 and October 1, 2025.


The season is finalized between October and January, with an official announcement made at our January Member Meeting.
